Want to beat the Winter Blues. How about and afternoon of super hot, hot, hot music. For the 2nd year in a row, Shank’s Tavern will be hosting a Singer Songwriter Showcase. Entrants in both Acoustic and Electric Categories vie for First Place and Runner Up Prize Money. The local band, Wolfmoon Revival, will be hosting the festivities. Each contestant will be given a chance to perform 3 of their hottest songs. The songs can be covers or originals. Judges from the music industry will pick the winners, and there will also be a People’s Choice Winner, provided by one of our judge Steve Schlegel, from Shenanigan Entertainment. Also returning as judges this year: Longtime local drummer and session musician, Tom Mowrey and Snug Box guitarist, Daren Boyer. Here’s the best part . . . There is no cover to get in and enjoy all this totally awesome live music. Our kitchen will be open for the duration of the event. If you are interested
