Matinee for Animal Rescue –
Remember in the ’70s, local bars and taverns used to have a band on a Saturday afternoon and they would call it a “Saturday Afternoon Matinee.” Well, Shank’s is resurrecting that idea and we’re doing a “Saturday Muttinnee” for Animal Rescue, on Saturday May 6th from 1 to 6 p.m. We’ll have Chinese Auction items, and expect to hear some awesome classic rock and current tunes from Wolfmoon Revival. In the back yard we’ll some rescue’s stopping by for a visit, including Charlie the Pit from Fairy Tail Acres in Denver, PA. Plus! For the Love of Dog Pet Store will be here too. As for “eats”, Heim’s Food Truck will also be part of the event. $2 Miller Lite’s all day. If you would like to make a donation, or for further details, please contact Tina Greider at 717.252.1662.
